ingredients

  • 1 lb. smoked sausage, cut up
  • 1 whole chicken, cut up
  • 3 pork chops, cut up
  • salt
  • paprika
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup onions, chopped
  • ¼ cup green bell peppers
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 10 oz can tomato soup
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • teaspoon saffron
  • 1 cup white rice, uncooked
  • 4 ounces frozen shrimp, cooked
  • ½ cup peas, cooked

directions

1. Sprinkle chicken, sausage and pork chops with salt and paprika. In large skillet or dutch oven, brown chicken, pork, and sausage in the oil. Push to one side and in same pan, add next three ingrediants and cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring.
2. Stir in next five ingredients. Bring to boil, cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring gently occaisionally to prevent rice from sticking. Add remaining ingrediants; heat.
