ingredients

  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup plain salt
  • ¼ cup cumin
  • 3 tablespoons orange chipotle powder
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • 4 teaspoons onion granules
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons chicken granules
  • yellow mustard

directions

Mix all ingredients except mustard. To use, pat meat dry and spread mustard on all meat surfaces. Sprinkle meat generously with rub. Cover and let sit for at least an hour (if overnight, place in refrigerator). Allow meat to come to room temperature (if necessary). Grill or smoke meat.
