  • 8 slices french bread
  • 16 slices virgina ham
  • 16 slices deli sliced turkey
  • 8 slices mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • mayonnaise
  • honey mustard
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg, freshly grated
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

directions

1. Spread bread with mayonnaise and mustard. Alternate ham, turkey, and mozzarella slices on bread. Sprinkle liberally with parmesan cheese.
2. Beat egg, milk, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Coat the sandwich with the egg and milk mixture. Heat a greased skillet over medium heat, brown the sandwich on both sides. Serve hot with maple syrup or raspberry jam.
