- ½ cup oatmeal
- 1-⅛ cups water, boiling
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoons molasses
- ½ tablespoon salt
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1-½ cups flour, all-purpose
- 1-½ teaspoon active dry yeast

Add oatmeal to heat-resistant bowl. Pour in boiling water, stirring to prevent lumps. Let the mixture cool for 20 minutes. Stir and pour into the Bread Pan and add the rest of the ingredients in the order given. Bake using "whole wheat" setting. |
