ingredients

  • ¾ cup raw sugar
  • ½ cup plain salt
  • ½ cup paprika
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 3 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon orange chipolte powder
  • 1 tablespoon celery salt
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder

directions

Mix all ingredients. To use, pat meat dry and sprinkle rub lightly on all meat surfaces. Spray meat with cooking spray (such as Pam) and then sprinkle meat surface again (this time a little more generously) with more rub. Wrap meat in plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for at least an hour (overnight is better!). Remove plastic wrap and grill or smoke meat.
