- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 16 ounces powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
- ½ teaspoon butter extract
- 1-2 drops food coloring
- ¼ cup granulated sugar

1. Cream butter and cream cheese together with a mixer until soft and well blended. Add powdered sugar and beat until well blended. Add extracts and food coloring. Beat until uniform in color. |
2. Roll into marble-size balls and then roll balls in sugar to coat. Press into candy molds. Turn molds onto paper lined cookie sheets to dry. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve. |
3. NOTE: If using cookie press to press mints, add 1-3 tsps of milk to batter to thin out enough to press. Remember to butter the pattern disk to keep the batter from sticking to the press. |
