ingredients

  • ¼ cup paprika
  • ½ cup kosher salt
  • ½ cup raw sugar
  • ¼ cup black pepper
  • ¼ cup chili powder
  • ¼ cup garlic powder
  • ¼ cup onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon chipolte powder
  • 1 tablespoon herbs de provance

directions

Mix all ingredients. To use, pat meat dry and sprinkle rub lightly on all meat surfaces. Spray meat with cooking spray (such as Pam) and then sprinkle meat surfaces again (this time a little more generously) with more rub. Wrap meat in plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for at least an hour (overnight is better!). Remove plastic wrap and grill or smoke meat.
