ingredients

  • 1 lb. sage pork sausage
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • ½ cup butter
  • 8 cups seasoned dried bread cubes
  • 2-½ cups chicken broth, warm

directions

1. Pour seasoned bread cubes into large bowl. Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and pour onto bread cubes.
2. In same pan, saute onions and celery in the butter until onion is tender but not browned. Pour onion mixture onto bread cubes. Toss bread cube and sausage mixture. Add broth and toss stuffing until moist but not wet.
3. Stuff turkey or bake for 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
