ingredients

  • 6 pork chops, 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1 box stuffing mix, for pork
  • 1 cup water, very hot
  • 1 10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • ¼ cup butter, melted

directions

1. Brown chops. Remove and add 3/4 cup water to frying pan. Place chops in single layer in a baking dish.
2. In a bowl, mix the vegetable packet from the stuffing box with 1 cup very hot water and 1/4 cup melted butter. Add contents of crumb packet and mix well. Form into as many balls as you have chops and place one ball on each chop.
3. Put soup in a pan containing the water and drippings; mix and pour over chops and stuffing. Bake, uncovered, 60 to 90 minutes in 350 degree oven.
