ingredients

  • 1 3 oz box lemon jello
  • ¾ cup water, cold
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 box lemon cake mix, Duncan Hines--if possible
  • ¾ cup cooking oil
  • lemon juice, from 1 lemon
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

directions

Mix Jello with cold water. Add eggs. Mix in cake mix and add oil. Beat well. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Browns easily. Mix the lemon juice with the powdered sugar. (To make glaze thicker or thinner, increase or reduce amount of powdered sugar.) Stick cake all over with a tooth pick or fork. Pour mixture over cake while still warm.
