ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups rotissarie chicken, de-boned and shredded
  • 6 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 10 oz cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat cook onion and garlic in butter until tender. Add chicken and continue to cook for 2 more minutes until chicken is heated and starts to brown.
3. In a medium bowl blend chicken mixture, cream cheese, and mozzarealla cheese until creamy.
4. Unroll crescent rolls and divide to create 8 rectangles. Divide filling evenly among the rectangles. Fold into balls and pinch the seams together.
5. Arrange balls on a large baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 17 minutes, or until golden brown.
